...Of the 36 points that make my ideal hostel, the Hostel Split, which is really just a small room with 6 bunks, a tiny kitchen and bathroom, had 1. Good mattresses, 2. Good pillows, 3. Good location, and 4. Owner, a friendly, generous patron. Not much else, but sometimes 4 is all you need.

...hostess is amazinngly sweet. i highly recommend this hostel to anyone coming to split. its about a 3 min walk from downtown and buses and there is a small kitchen you can cook in (very good for anyone on a tight budget). this place is more like living with a family that just staying in a hostel.
